California Proposition 65, in plain terms

California’s Proposition 65 requires businesses to give a clear and reasonable warning before exposing anyone in the state to chemicals the state has listed as causing cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The list is long, it is revised regularly, and it covers substances found in many ordinary manufactured goods, including some plastics, coatings, adhesives and electronic components.

What that means for these products

Adult products are assembled from silicone, ABS and electronic parts, and some components can contain trace amounts of listed substances. A Prop 65 warning may therefore appear on packaging supplied by a manufacturer, or on a product page for a California delivery address.

HUSHWELL does not run its own chemical testing programme and does not claim that any item is free of every listed substance. We do not apply a warning where none is supplied, and we do not remove one that is. The decision on which products carry a warning, the exact warning wording, and the supporting documentation must be confirmed by the operator before this store accepts live orders.

Not a safety assessment
